Description
Vocal Basics – Module 1 provides the essential technical foundation for successful vocal training. It introduces the fundamental principles of healthy voice production and explains how proper breathing supports vocal stability, tone quality, resonance, and confidence.
Students explore the physiology of vocal breathing, the role of the diaphragm, correct inhalation, breath support, breath control, and controlled exhalation. Each concept is presented step by step and reinforced through practical exercises that help establish healthy singing habits from the very beginning.
The module also focuses on developing a free, natural, and stable vocal sound. Students learn different types of vocal attacks, vocal cord coordination, crescendo and diminuendo, and techniques for maintaining a resonant tone without unnecessary tension.
The practical section includes four original exercises: “Balloon,” “Signal of the Liner,” “Noise of the Wave,” and “Signal of the Machine.” Each exercise is supported by detailed methodological guidance, musical notation, piano accompaniment, professionally recorded audio demonstrations, and progressive practice instructions.
An additional feature is the gradual integration of singing with piano playing. This helps students develop musical hearing, rhythmic accuracy, coordination, and performance confidence while learning to accompany their own vocal practice.
By completing Module 1, students establish a solid foundation in healthy vocal breathing and controlled sound production, preparing them for the more advanced techniques introduced in the following modules.
